Tendency of pulling left

Question : My Waja uses a low profile tyre 205/50/R16. Recently I had it aligned and its camber adjusted. However, while driving, the front wheel still pulls to the left even when I maintain the steering wheel in central position.

Answer : It could be a tyre problem and it could be also camber. This is a problem that seems to rear its head occasionally due to the crowning of the roads in our country and other tropical countries. You will notice that our roads are higher in the middle than at the sides and while it is good for draining off water from the road surface, sometimes vehicles have a tendency to wander to the left even though all suspension setting are according to spec. Sometimes by swapping the tyres around it helps, or if the car has adjustable camber, having asymmetric settings for the camber on the front can do the job. You need a good alignment man to work on this if the wandering is really irritating you.
