Rear suspension

Question : WHICH type of rear suspension is the best for an MPV ( multi-purpose vehicle ), multi-link set-up or torsion beam ?

What are the advantages and disadvantages ?

Answer : How much are you prepared to pay ?

The best set-up would depend on what you are going to do with the vehicle.

If you are looking at out and out ride comfort then a fully independent suspension is the way to go but if cost is a factor, then the beam is good enough, although the ride will definitely be different.

In the final analysis, it is value for money -- ie how much you are prepared to pay.
