Question : What are the types of bushing underneath the car that can be worn out and need
replacement?
Answer : All the suspension pivot points have either bushings or
ball joints. In modern cars, almost all these parts are no longer
serviceable, i.e. cannot be lubricated, and so with use, they either get
worn or in the case of rubber parts, they get hard or collapse, resulting in
suspension noises and uneven tyre wear, etc. Therefore depending on your
usage of the car and how bad the road conditions are, you may need to
replace these bushes at yearly intervals to maintain the quietness and
driving stability. |
