Mist formation

Question : MY Perodua Myvi 1.3 builds up moisture on the inside of the windscreen during rain and this makes visibility poor.

Turning the vent to allow outside air to come In does not help.

Wiping the windscreen while driving is dangerous.

How can I prevent this mist formation ?

Answer : I assume that you are driving the car without air conditioning.

During rainy weather and all screens being closed, the interior temperature of the car drops less than the outside, resulting in the moisture in the cabin condensing on the windscreen.

Opening the vent does not help unless the outside air can be directed on the screen to normalize the temperature.

You could spray some of the proprietary anti-mist spray on the inside of the windscreen but the best solution is to run with air conditioning.
