Popping sound

Question : I DRIVE a 2002 Kancil EZ 850.

I noticed that after parking for sometime, a pop sound came from the back right hand side.

At times the car would sort of tilt to cone side when I released the brake and stepped on the accelerator.

The problem started after I changed the exhaust pipe.

The mechanic at my regular service center inserted a coil with hose and there was no problem for a few days.

Answer : The noise could be the handbrake.

When the handle is released, the shoes are not, resulting in the popping sound.

You may want to check if the linings are worn.
