Fuel comparison

Question : I AM driving a Proton Savvy 1.2M.

What is your opinion on the different fuels available in the market ?

What sort of fuel would give more mileage ?

Answer : I am going to stick my neck out here and state that all fuels supplied by the various fuel companies are basically the same in terms of their basic chemical properties as the base is petroleum crude.

Having said that, each company puts in additives to give the fuel the characteristics that they would like to enhance and therefore market as an advantage.

These additives could give slight differences in response, emissions, etc.

I think no one has tried to do a test between different brands simply because the results would not be conclusive enough and would cause even more confusion.

More significant is how you drive. An aggressive driver who accelerates and brakes hard will pretty soon offset any efficiency gain of any fuel brand.
