Projector lights

Question : I AM driving a Proton Wira and I am thinking of upgrading my headlights. What projector headlights are available for the Wira?

How does the projector headlight work? Will the projector headlight give better vision at night compared with the ordinary headlight? What projector headlights are approved by the Road Transport Department?

Answer : Recently we wrote a rather long reply on projector lights, especially after-market kits, that would answer your questions.

As I have stated before, projector lamps because of their high intensity require precision reflectors and lenses.

A reflector designed for normal halogen bulbs would allow too much scatter of light as to be a nuisance to oncoming traffic.

As far as I know, there is no clear RTD ruling on the use of after-market projector lights.
