Jerking Toyota SE

Question : When I drive my Toyota SE 1.6 (1990) manual after 30km and stop, it jerks when I depress the clutch and shift into first or second gear. I changed the clutch last year. Is this a gear box problem or is it the input shaft without any lubrication?

Answer : It looks like your clutch needs adjustment. I am not too sure whether your clutch uses hydraulic operation. If it does, you may want to have a look at either the clutch master pump or the slave cylinder for leaks, as a leak could also give you a similar problem
