Martin One-77 Poetry in motion
THE Aston Martin badge has the appeal to evoke sensations of poetry in
motion.
Everything that rolls out of the Warwickshire-based carmaker is art on
wheels, blending the car, driver and sublime beauty in one object that is
appealing to all walks of life.
The latest masterpiece, the One-77, is an embodiment of all things Aston
Martin.
With only 77 units slated to be built, this ultra exclusive super-car was
unveiled last week at the Concorso d'Eleganza on the shores of Lake Como in
Italy.
It left the crowd agape and drove home with the top design award at the
event.
Aston Martin says the car will be tailored to fit the driver.
It will be rolling art with its blistering performance, courtesy of the
hand-built 7-litre V12 that will sound like Armageddon with programmable
control feedback and handmade body panels.
The century dash will be dealt with in 3.5 seconds and it will keep going
all the way past 320km/h.
Despite a price tag of 1 million pounds, it has already been sold out.
