Thinking of the Honda CRV

Question : I am thinking of buying a new MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).

What would you suggest, bearing in mind that I am looking at easy maintenance, low petrol consumption and good resale value ?

I was thinking of the Honda CRV as a last resort

Answer : As a last resort, there is little for me to comment here since we know that Honda products offer good resale value.

The current CRV sells for RM150,000 new and a used four-year-old unit sells for the best price of RM105,000.

Do some research in the classifieds and you will realize that competitors like the X-Trail, Vitara, RAV4, Captiva and Rush offer similar depreciation values or sometimes better values.

Maintenance is also not the lowest in the mix.
