Worn absorbers

Question : I DRIVE a 2007 Proton Wira 1.5 (AT) which has done about 25,400km.

When I go through a hump, the undercarriage is hit even when I am driving alone. With two or three passengers, it's worse.

Is there a need to change absorbers ?

Answer : At what speed are you hitting the hump and how high is it ?

It is possible that your shock absorbers are worn and need replacing.

You can go back to the OEM units which will give you the best compromise.

However, if you want a harder ride there are many brands on the market that will cater to your needs, from slightly harder than standard to full race or rally specs.

I suggest that you visit a suspension shop and the guys there should be able to help you out.
